ATTLEBORO, MA- The Attleboro Blue Bombardiers Girls Lacrosse team faced the Foxborough Warriors on Monday Afternoon. They are coming off a slow 0-4 start. In the first quarter, Paige Curran scored the first goal for the Warriors. Then Lilly Vey scored the next two goals for the Warriors. Curran then scored her second goal of the game. Goals from Vey (hat trick), Ella Waryas, and Valerie Beagle carried the team as they scored 9 goals in the quarter. Foxborough was leading 9-0 at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, Mary Collins scored the first goal of the quarter and the 10th goal of the game for the Warriors. Then, Mya Waryas scored a hat trick in the quarter as she scored 3 goals. Foxborough was leading 13-0 at halftime. In the third quarter, Ella Waryas scored her 2nd goal of the game as she scored the first goal of the quarter. Grace Riley and Kate Collins scored the other two goals of the quarter as they extended their shutout to 16-0 at the end of the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Attleboro finally scored their first goal of the game which was by Hannah Webster. However, Foxborough scored the other two goals of the quarter. Foxborough won 19-1 over Attleboro. Attleboro's next game will be against Milford on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. start time. For more on this story, see Hockomock Sports.
