PISCATAWAY, NJ — Someone just won a huge $9.2 million lottery ticket in New Jersey, and the lucky ticket was sold at a convenience store in Piscataway. The store that sold the winning ticket is Quick Stop Food Store at 1665 Stelton Road in Piscataway, announced the state Lottery. That ticket matched all six numbers drawn for the Monday, May 17 Pick-6 drawing, winning the $9.2 million annuity jackpot. The cash value of the ticket is more than $7.2 million. A winner has not yet been revealed and some lottery winners choose not to be publicly revealed. "We are excited to meet the winner of this $9.2 million jackpot prize and learn how it will impact their life!" said NJ Lottery executive director James Carey. The winning numbers for the Monday, May 17, drawing were: 09, 12, 29, 34, 35 and 48. The XTRA Multiplier was: 04. The jackpot for the Pick-6 game has reset to $2 million. The next drawing will be held Thursday, May 20. The Piscataway store will receive an unusually large bonus of $10,000 for selling that winning ticket. Most stores receive a $2,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket, but this was an unusually large win. Be the first to know.
