Gas Line Accident Forces Road Closure In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — A gas line accident shut down part of a busy Manchester Road late Tuesday morning and the road was closed into the afternoon hours. The line was near the intersection of East center Street and Plymouth Lane. Emergency crews were seen taking protective measures on both roads. I was struck at about 11 a.m., according to emergency communications channels. Construction has been ongoing in the area. Eat Center Street was cones off in the immediate area for some time.
