here a little about me: I have been working on construction and restaurants for the last 25 and recently left the restaurant to became my own boss in construction and start my own construction small company. I been doing side job for last 8 years while working 4 days on the restaurant and I have a establish clientele of about 40 costumers and keep growing. ***keep it small keep it all**** I specialize in small jobs and most often 1 or 2 person jobs all range from cleaning gutters, hauling debris, fences decks, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels. I often need a second hand and I call a few of my contacts but now that I am going to be a little more bigger and busy I find myself in need of a more solid helper. Sometimes I go to the home depot to get a day labor person but is so hard to find the right TRUSTWORTHY person. So here I am ! the most important thing first ! pay ! I wil pay you cash on at the end of your 2 or 3 day shift ! wages depends on experience and desire to work. I will star at 20.00 and go up depending on different factors(consider by me) remember 20.00 cash is like 25.00 in payroll after deduction ! The second most important thing ! I will not allow you to be on the phone all day if you are at work you are working and I understand that family is first so if your kids or wife are calling you that is fine but be mindful of your time. Looking for a weekend warrior ! You most be able to work on the weekends (Friday Saturday and Sundays most of the time) I take time off on the week days and it rotates so most often I will need you for a couple of days per week I do a variety of jobs but the candidate as helper will help with: moving lumber from the truck to the site, moving 80 lb. bags of concrete to the necessary location (wheel borrow available), digging holes when necessary, demolition, moving debris to truck and after that helping w the project and learning the different trades I do ----- so this is weekend gig offer for 2 to 3 days most of the time-------- The ideal candidate : want to work on construction rather than be driven for the financial needs Is someone that already has a job (or part time) wants to have an additional income wants to learn the trade(s) NO experience necessary I will train you for the most basic stuff I am sure you will learn. No need tools I got them all but eventually you may need your tool belt (if wants to get pay better) Must not be a flake or come up w a million excuses not to work the following week ! I do plan weeks in advance to make sure you will get a job so I hope you understand where i am coming from and why you have to be reliable and punctual. My philosophy ! work hard but also enjoy life ! I work 4 days on the field 1 office day and enjoy 2 foll days off ! working in construction for the boss is usually working 12 hours days ( the helper only gets 8 ) will work on the site most time 8 hours or less we take a "paid" 30 minutes lunch break you MUST bring cold lunch ( I have a toaster over so you can warm up your food) no microwave most times we star at 8 and finish at 4 times counts at the job site most jobs in Oakland ( I do not go across the bridges) I live in Pinole and we can commute together on meet me there !
