Bakery Needs Help Baking & Packaging Cookies! $16.50 an hour

Hi all! We have a small wholesale bakery in Hayward and we are seeking a local person to help with the baking and packaging of our custom cookies. Responsibilities Include: - Setting up & mixing the ingredients - Sorting & baking the cookies - Wiping down the tables, sinks, ovens, bowls and mixing once baking concludes - Packaging up the cookies in gift bags or in bulk boxes - Restocking supplies and taking inventory after every shift. Normal shifts start at 6am and they usually end between 12pm - 2pm. Once in a great while we have an afternoon or weekend shift but it is very rare at this time. The job starts at $16.50 an hour with performance reviews every 3 months and a pay review after 1 year. We also offer a 401k profit sharing plan after 1 year of employment. Currently this would be a part-time job with 3-4 shifts a week. However depending performance and scheduling it could very well turn into more shifts. We are open Monday - Friday. Please let me know why a this job would work with your schedule, whether or not you are local and if you have any experience working in a production facility. We work very quickly as you are part of a production process so the person needs to be comfortable working fast! This person also needs to be able to lift 50lbs without a problem & be very reliable.
