We are looking for a Construction Assistant to be on site and assist project manger with completion of new residential construction projects. Looking for full time, responsible, punctual, energetic person with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn to join our team. Compensation based on proven skills and experience. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 1 years general construction related experience Candidate should have experience safely using power tools and construction equipment as well as able to safely perform the physical tasks typical in construction. Experience References Valid California Drivers License Reliable Vehicle - Vehicle compensation provided Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Eager to learn and able to take direction, good time management Good organizational skills Must be punctual Responsibilities: Assist with coordinating construction activities as required to meet production schedules and established quality standards Local travel required to pick up material and supplies from vendors in the Bay Area Maintain clean job sites on a daily basis Lock homes under construction at the end of each workday and ensure all windows are properly closed. Perform pick up items and materials as needed. Assist Project Manager with procurement and scheduling of materials Inventory material deliveries for hardware, windows, light fixtures and appliances and report any quantity or quality problems. Perform minor repairs and punch out work. Report any problems, damages, oversights or hazardous conditions to the Project Manager.
