From the City of Hammond: May 17, 2021 Department: Park Department Job Title: Bartender - Festival of the Lakes Date Requested: May 10, 2021 Date needed: July 13-18, 2021 Salary: $10.00 per hour plus tips – temporary position Job Requirements Job Duties & More Must have a current Employee Permit with the State of Indiana ATF Must have a current Driver's License in the State of Indiana Must have Certificate from Indiana Server Training Program Ability to serve draft beer and mixed beverages in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing Ability to follow directions Ability to deal tactfully with the public and other personnel Ability to work outside for long periods of time, during the day and at night Ability to stand on your feet or sit for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Take tickets from customers and provide them with the appropriate ordered beverage Stock your bar and have it ready for service Check identifications of a customer to determine age, if needed Balance your intake as needed Perform other duties as required The position will be posted from May 10, 2021 until June 21, 2021.
