From the City of Hammond: May 17, 2021 Department: Park Department Job Title: Alcoholic Beverage Ticket Booth Cashier - Festival of the Lakes Date Requested: May 10, 2021 Date needed: July 13-18, 2021 Salary: $15 per hour – temporary position Job Requirements Job Duties & More Must be 18 years of age or older Must be bondable Ability to work with money and make change Ability to operate a cash register Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to follow directions Ability to deal tactfully with the public and other personnel Ability to work outside for long periods of time, during the day and night and in all weather conditions Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time Take money from customers and provide them with appropriate ticket(s) at a designated ticket purchasing area Balance money intake as needed Perform other duties as required The position will be posted from May 10, 2021 until June 21, 2021.
