Hi little bird! What cha doing? My second day of work was rough. I really need to work in person, remote desktop is not working out. Did you miss me a little or a lot? Did you wish I was next to you when you woke up? Did you finish the ice cream we got? Are you saving some for me? I hope you don't miss me as much as I miss you, because it really hurts. I hope your brother is doing ok. You know I never ask about him because I don't want to remind you to worry about him. I am scared to drag you down when you are barely managing to stay afloat. So I wait until it seems ok to talk about it. Maybe it makes you think I don't care. Maybe it makes you think I forgot. But I don't forget and I do care. So I always ask you to tell me stories, hoping you'd share whatever is weighing you down. Don't fly too far away from me, little bird, we were going to live happily ever after.
