JOB SUMMARY Villa Marin is currently looking for a Full-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator who is responsible for a variety of duties in the Health Center including but not limited to: planning, coordinating and implementing therapeutic and meaningful life enrichment programs to meet the individual Personal Care Unit (PCU) residents’ needs and interests. As appropriate, life enrichment programs may be designed for or to include condominium residents with physical or mental functioning levels similar to residents in PCU. The life enrichment programs are to be developed with appropriate input from other Health Center staff and the individual resident’s attending physician. Providing back-up and other assistance to the entire life enrichment team as appropriate. SCHEDULE: • Full-Time, 40 hours per week • Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00am – 6:30pm • Shifts will include Saturdays, evenings and some holidays KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience in a social or recreational program in a health care or senior services setting • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to the Patient Care Unit and Skilled Nursing Facility activities • Patience and understanding of the aged, tact and courtesy in dealing with residents REQUIREMENTS Applicant must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations. Also must meet health assessment requirements as regulated by the California Department of Social Services. TB testing and fingerprint clearance required by Community Care Licensing through the State of California Department of Justice background check bureau.
