If you answer yes to these questions, please consider applying to be our CAPITAL HILL Area Dog Daycare Driver at Bone-A-Fide Dog Ranch. We are looking for a high energy, responsible, flexible, hardworking individual to join our team. This is a full-time M-F position (occasional weekends/holidays) and includes an excellent health insurance plan and an optional 401(k). As a daycare driver you will be responsible for safely picking up dogs from their home (using our customized van - and we cover the gas, insurance, etc. - we have a number of policies & measures in place to protect against COVID-19); driving them to the ranch located in Snohomish; supervising them while at the ranch (in a beautiful 5 acre outdoor setting with trees and trails) and then dropping them off at home at the end of the day. This is for our CAPITAL HILL Area route. We prefer that you live in the CAPITAL HILL area but you MUST LIVE within 15-20 minutes of there (using our van to commute though) and be able to safely store the van overnight and on weekends at your house/apartment - we would pay the monthly parking permit fee if required. As a driver, you are required to pick up your first dog by 8:30am. In addition to transporting dogs to and from the ranch, you will be responsible for: • Supervising the dogs while in the van. Making sure all dogs are safe and comfortable while in the van. • Supervising the daycare pack while they are outside playing, and making sure that all dogs are safe, comfortable and having fun. • Help maintain the outside play areas. This includes picking up dog poop and helping to make sure the grounds are clear and safe for the dogs. • Maintaining the Bone-A-Fide van. This includes keeping the interior clean at all times and reporting any mechanical issues to management immediately. You must have a clean driving record and conduct yourself professionally at all times while driving the Bone-A-Fide van. Your driving abstract will be required with interview. A background check will be performed prior to hiring. You MUST take COVID-19 seriously and be willing to diligently adhere to our COVID-19 processes and procedures. MUST be vaccinated or in the process of getting vaccinated. You must be pro-active team player and genuinely interested in canine behavior. Attention to detail and flexibility is a must. The job requires extensive walking, some lifting and the physicality required to manage a large pack of dogs.
