We need a hard working, take charge, individual who can work independently in all aspects of running a boutique cat boarding business. This is not an entry level position but college students are encouraged to apply. You must have some professional or volunteer experience with animal care, plus other work experience. Duties include taking email reservations, preparing documents, set up and break down "cat condos" for boarding cats, talk to customers and take payments. You will also be responsible to feed cat guests and take photos for our popular photo kitty blog. No doubt about it, 65% of this position is cleaning after cats. You are required to live within 1/2 hour commute of our Leschi location with vehicle transportation in case of a veterinarian emergency. This business is open 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. You need to be available for a variety of shifts starting at 8:00 am to 2:00 or 4:00 pm on days to be determined by you and us, including some weekends, 25-30 hours a week.
