Description
The Machine Operator’s primary role is to perform skilled machine operations and provide general as-assigned duties. Day-to-day labor involves working on an assembly line that supports the production of finished skincare goods. Machine operators are able to perform operations to maximize efficiency and identify and remedy machine setbacks quickly, safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
-Understand all functions of machine operations; Able to troubleshoot and identify when operation needs to be adjusted accordingly.
-Component assembly: Can identify machine parts and their purpose for machine function.
-Able to set up, operate and breakdown machines smoothly without supervision.
-Maintain fill line, label placement, components, and lot codes and conduct constant quality checks on the line.
-Trained on safety hazards and cautions on machines and machine room.
-Trained and evaluated on machine instructions/SOPs.
-Follows routine maintenance schedule as provided by Machine Specialist
-Relays any maintenance issues that need to be addressed to Machine Specialist for proper scheduling of maintenance.
-Trained on GMP procedures for appropriate attire while in machine room.
-Provides general production support during downtime.
Required skills:
-Confident with basic mathematics
-Able to do physical labor for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
-Maintain a positive attitude and stay engaged in work
-Achieve daily goals consistently
-Able to multi task
-Open and adaptable to feedback on performance
-Reliable, punctual and dependable
-Work well in a team environment
-Able to perform high volume repetition work while maintaining efficiency
-Ability to adapt in high volume production on a fast-paced assembly line
