Description
J3 Aviation Solutions is looking for an part time seat cushion fabricator today. You will need to cut leather / tee shirt material, plastic, honey comb paneling foam, and glue the pieces together before wrapping the leather dress cover over the seat cushion and sewing it together. We are using "Consew 206 RB-5 Upholstery Sewing Machine". You will be provided with all the supplies you will need for the task. There will be training and guidance provided as we expect there to be a learning curve. Once we feel comfortable you will eventually be able to work in the evening or daytime, whichever time fits your schedule, as long as the work gets done. The seat cushions will always be the sample dimensions as we use what you build to burn test the seat to make sure its OK for installation in the aircraft on behalf of the FAA. We are an FAA flammability testing lab at FAU Research Park. Compensation is $15-$20 per hour.
