Description
UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — More traffic should be expected around the area this spring and summer as lane closures are planned on a pair of busy routes in the Upper Providence and greater Phoenixville area.
The lane closures will be held only on weekdays, and will only shut down one lane. They're necessary due to required utility work in the area.
Route 113 (Black Rock Road) will see a lane closed from its start to Route 29. This closure will be in place from May 24 to Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, Route 29 will have a lane closed from Amelia Street to the Schuylkill River Trail from June 1 to Nov. 19, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Officials advise motorists to plan ahead and allow additional time to travel in these areas due to expected delays.
