Professional Landscape/Gardener looking for Helper

Hello, I am a prossional Gardener, serving the Arcata/Northern Humboldt area. I’ve been in business for nearly 20 years in Humboldt. I mostly service Bayside to Big Lagoon. My work varies from regular maintenance (mowing, weedeating, hedging, weeding, pruning) to landscape design and installation. I go by Hummingbird Gardening/landscapes. Hummgardening.com is my website. I have many clients and opportunity to grow. I have had a side kick for many years but find myself in need of a new main side kick. My ideal helper would have experience with hedgers, mowers, chainsaws, weed eater, weeding, pruning, etc. as well as attention to detail and ability to follow directions and work well unsupervised; after receiving instruction. Be in good shape and the ability to shift gears (speed up or slow down depending on the task at hand).You must have good social hygiene, and be able to know how to interact with clients and myself, appropriate to the situation. My clients should feel comfortable in your presence and impressed by your work ethic. A typical week.... you touch bases with me, and let me know if you have any days you can not work, or days you need to start late or cut short. After, looking at the weather report, we do our best to carve out 2-5 days depending on the weather and the season. (This is the busy season!). A typical day is 5.5-7.5 hrs long. ~ 10:30-6:30 You show up at my home in Arcata (or I pick you up) and we head off to client/clients. Three (6 + hrs days) is what I’m shooting for. I pay at the end of the week. I....provide and maintain the tools/truck/trailer, clients and training. I am the main communicator/negotiator with the client. I do the invoicing and take responsibility for customer happiness and mistakes. You...communicate with me. Show up. Give your best.! Come prepared with gloves, safety glasses, good work attire (sturdy pants, shoes/boots, hat/sunscreen, water, lunch etc.) I don’t mind if you partake (herb) after work, but please refrain from being high during work. I do not put up with any hard drug use, or alcoholism either. I need sane people around me, so if you have any mental problems or serious addictions, I wish you healing but, this is not a job for you. We will be around each other a lot, and I enjoy a good chat (but also some silence).So here is a little about me. I have been doing Tai Chi/Qi gong for 25 + years and have taught classes in the community. I am a graduate of HSU. Environmental Science/soils and watershed management. I am into, visionary art, crystals etc. I am a musician. Reggae is my favorite style to play. I am 45 y/o, I am happily married with two great teen sons. I grew up in Nevada City with a hippy mom and was a punk back in the day. I’m a pescatarian ( vegetarian but eat fish) and eat an organic diet. I don’t smoke cigarettes. I love rivers and nature. I consider myself a classical liberal/ with libertarian leanings. I am not stoked on the current state of politics/lockdown or woke culture. I tend to be on the flip side of mainstream culture. If you are of the mainstream mind set(watch a lot of mainstream news), and are dogmatic or tend to be judgmental of others political views, we may not be a good fit for the long run. I am not occustom to living in fear. I don’t wear a mask outside or around my clients, but will keep appropriate distance if they seem worried. If your very worried about the Cov.
