Description

GLENDORA, CA — Construction continues on the Foothill Gold Line segment from Glendora to Pomona, and a virtual community meeting will take place Wednesday to provide the public with an update on the project and to answer any questions. The segment is part of an extension of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's L Line, formerly the Gold Line, which runs through East Los Angeles and Azusa. Construction is scheduled to be completed sometime in 2025, with additional stations in Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne and Pomona, according to officials. The project will ultimately extend the line into San Bernardino County, with a station in Montclair. The virtual meeting is geared specifically toward the Glendora to Pomona segment, but residents from the Montclair area are also welcomed to attend, officials said. The meeting will be held on Zoom from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Registration is required to attend. Visit iwillride.org for more information about the meeting and to register.
