DSP positions start at $14.75 - $16.25/hour (includes location/shift differentials) with the potential of earning up to $18.25/hour with scheduled OT after 90 days (these are temporary positions). Partnerships in Community Living, Inc (PCL) is looking for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who will provide safety, stability, nurturing, and life skills education, while also ensuring every child gets to experience a fun-filled, positive, and loving environment in which to grow and develop. Successful candidates will be ethical, patient, reliable, tenacious, compassionate, able to work independently, and adaptable. This position will require advanced knowledge of mental health and positive behavioral support, advanced training expectations and when appropriate and necessary, sharing of overall department/team goals. This position must encourage the best practice of supporting people using evidence-based therapeutic models and environmental change to achieve consistent, stable and productive lives. Current Openings include (subject to change*): Central Point-1 You'll be working with 4 teenagers (3 boys, 1 girl) (Ages 15-17). They are active teenagers who each like different things, including but not limited to hiking, cooking, swimming, and listening to music. These teens love creating arts and crafts and going for long drives. Some of the teens enjoy games, either electronic video games or board games! Grants Pass-1 You will be supporting 2 fun and active gentlemen (ages 28 & 23). Both guys love spending time outside on nice days. Some other favorite activities include shopping, going out to eat, trips to the river or beach, arts and crafts, listening to music, spending time with animals, swinging, playing catch/tag, watching a wide variety of tv or movies. Medford-1 You'll be working with two young women (18-19)  who enjoy fast paced physical activity like dancing, swimming, horseback riding, jumping on the trampoline, going for walks, and swinging at the park. As well as more laid back activities like listening/watching Disney music and movies, cooking, and gardening. Wages are $14.75/hour-$16.25/hour (differential of $1.00/hr for some locations). If you leave this department, your base wage will be $14.25-$14.75/hr. Full time employees (30 or more hours a week) are eligible for 401(K), Paid Time Off, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance and Life Insurance coverage. Requirements: Be 18 years of age or older. Possess a valid government issued photo ID, driver’s license preferred. Some positions require that you be able to meet agency insurance requirements to be able to drive. Be able to pass a State/Federal background check. Fingerprints may be required. Pass a pre-employment drug screening for illegal substances. Pass a pre-employment computer skills assessment. Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Depending on work location, some positions may require a higher lifting requirement. Training Requirements and Expectations: Attend a required Meet and Greet. This is the scheduled first day of work. Shadow shifts between Meet and Greet and Orientation Training. Attend a two week orientation training in Grants Pass and/or Virtually, may be flexible with prior communication.
