ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Homeowners voted in favor of the Rockville Centre Union Free School District's $124 million budget. It passed in Tuesday's election, 2008-907 votes, News 12 reported. This year saw an increase of $1.3 million, or 1 percent, from the 2020-2021 budget. There is no hike in the tax levy. The budget translates to $35,000 per student, according to the school district.Overall, 58 percent would go toward salaries.
