Looking for a permanent drummer for a rock and roll band made up of late 20s to mid 30s guys with full-time non musical day jobs. Professional equipment. Practice once a week, usually for 3-ish hours. Covers now but the goal is to write some original music once a permanent drummer is in place. Played a well-received gig earlier this month with a temporary drummer. Plan on gigging periodically in the D.C.-area in the coming months. Influences include more modern Americana bands like Wilco, Son Volt, Drive-by Truckers, Hiss Golden Messenger and older rock and roll bands like The Band, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, The Beatles, The Stones and Tom Petty.
