Hi I'm a 21 year old musician/bassist/guitar player and I also dabble in producing electronic music. I'm new to playing music and I'm looking for a fun group of people around my own age and skill level to play music with and maybe make something cool. I'm really inspired by punk and grunge along with more modern electronic music/IDM and I would love to form a group where we could play music that reflects these interests. Obviously forming a band would be a dream of mine but I would mostly just like to start off by playing with some people for fun and seeing where it takes us. I think I'm best at bass but I could definitely pick up a guitar or do keyboard type stuff. If you are a fun weirdo with a drum kit, a theremin, a modular synth rack who isn't pretentious and doesn't mind playing for fun, doesn't care too much about skill level, etc then hit me up! I'm vaccinated and bored and I love playing music with other people and it would be cool to get a few people together to have fun with. My influences are... cats, current 93, crystal castles, kontravoid, throbbing gristle, death grips, nirvana, sonic youth, mudhoney, bob dylan, the velvet underground, nick drake, 100 gecs, elliott smith, coil, the knife, four tet, boards of canada, einstürzende neubauten, psychic tv, cupcakke, bauhaus, grimes, vivienne westwood, nature documentaries, being in nature, my dreams/nightmares, yarn and also cats. Women, LGBTQ preferred but not required.
