Drummer / Beatmaker Needed for original jazz/blues/funk mashup project

Oh dang thanks for clicking on this post! We are currently a trio at the early starting stages of a band. We have 4 songs written pretty thoroughly, 3 songs in the back pocket that need revisiting, and 2 solid covers so far after about a month of writing together. I can provide some shoddy samples after you reach out. We plan on gigging locally as we're all working professionals and wouldn't be able to tour very much. We have no idea if we'll get paid, but if we do rest assured you'd be included! Main influences so far; Amy Winehouse, The Police, Arlo Parks, Knower, and a ton of other stuff. We're constantly sharing playlists of music and interested in a wide variety! We would love to find a local drummer and/or beat maker/percussionist with jazz/funk/hip hop interests. The singer has some experience with sample triggering and beat making, and our keyboardist is a very skilled professional keyboard player with experience doing bass lines, melodies, and triggering drum tracks. Our guitarist is very into funk and interesting chord progressions and adds a lot to the finer touches on the song. We're aiming to make danceable songs that we can gig with, and starting to feel like a drummer/percussionist would be a good addition. Soooo!! Still reading? Well dang! We would love to hear from you and set up time to connect in person and jam together should our musical interests align! General information... We prefer little to no drinking during band practice time. A beer is fine, but otherwise this is not a drinking band and never will be. We don't currently have a formal practice space - but - for the right drummer we would look to rent time at local music practice spaces. We try to meet at least once a week, occasionally twice if we find the time in our schedules. We are LGBTQ+ friendly.
