ECHO Shelter Atascadero- Laundry Angels Needed ASAP!

Looking to volunteer in your community? ECHO Shelter Atascadero is currently looking for Laundry Angels to pick up and launder towels on Mondays after 5pm, and bring them back to the shelter clean and folded the following day (Tuesday) before 3pm. Laundry Angels launder towels at their homes for our daily shower program. This volunteer service saves ECHO about $6000 a year. No training requirements, but volunteers must have a washer and dryer at home, and must be able to transport towels to and from our facility in a timely fashion. Volunteering as a Laundry Angel can satisfy court-mandated community service hours- ECHO is a non-profit 501(c) ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the unhoused men, women, and children in SLO County, 365 nights a year.
