My name is Quintin Cheadle and I am running a painting service this summer out of Orono, Maine. We are looking for a Painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces. Your job will be important since good painting has both practical and aesthetic benefits. They must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties. The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work. Responsibilities Responsibilities for painters include interior and exterior painting, pressure washing, and deck staining 40 hours/week (4 days/wk, 10 hour days) Must be available to work every day of the week Must have transportation Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools Apply varnish and other finishes Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions Piecework system Skills Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.) Not afraid of heights, ladders etc. Conscientious with great attention to detail Hard working
