Argentine Tango Essentials -Need 3 men to balance the class

Note: This is Posted in 4 groups and my private student list. Don't go by just this count for attendees. At this time I have 3 extra ladies and need some Leads (Men). I've had a number of new members (and some former students) ask for Argentine Tango so let's go!! It's a great dance style with a large Madison dance community. Argentine Tango is not the formal ballroom style but is instead, the original passionate, romantic, Tango that relies on connection and the relationship with your partner. Some teach a large scale, showy version but this is the more traditional style. It is more than dance; it’s a way of life. This class will focus on that connection and the passion needed to do true tango. The steps are actually quite simple and we will develop five strong, essential basics as well as the nuances to carry you on to more complex moves in the future. You need not register with a partner but it is highly preferred. Previously we had extra men, last time 3 men didn't show up and we had extra women. I will attempt to maintain gender balance and the balance will be updated daily as I post in multiple places. If you need a partner, send me a direct e-mail at with a little bit about you and I will attempt to find a partner. We will NOT change partners unless the class decides it is acceptable. Note: as of this morning the CDC and State of Wisconsin say those that have been vaccinated need not be masked. We will decide in the first class. We will occasionally be reversing the Lead/Follow relationship for greater understanding. We will have 5 classes as we have an extra Tuesday in June but the price is the same @ $40 for the series. You get $5 credit for each referral (they list you on the registration sheet). No new students after the first week without approval. Spots should be reserved to ensure a proper balance. Max 12 couples. Masks required on entry. Go directly to the classroom do not stop in the lobby to change shoes. We'll decide protocol right away. Craigslist does not allow weekly repeats so this is EVERY Tuesday in June for 5 weeks. If we do not have enough to hold the class, private lessons will be available in the same time slot at$20/hour.
