This position is responsible to cover multiple properties owned by the company, including multi-family housing. The goal is to maintain all properties to be presented with a high standard in curb appeal. Perform work involving the skills of an additional maintenance tech or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the properties in repair. Prevent losses of damage by reporting irregularities, informing visitors of policy and procedures; interfacing with trespassers. Duties will involve: parking lot assessment, trash removal, landscape/irrigation assessment and any repairs needed. Report necessary repairs and evaluate if any outside vendors need to be contacted for the repair. Check all parking lot lights and report outages to property manager. Will be responsible for replacing lights on buildings as necessary. Regularly check common area restrooms upstairs at main office for supplies, trash removal. Provide labor and organization support to maintenance technician that is on-site. Clean, test, and chemical pool per daily schedule as set for by state requirements. Attend all continuing education courses that support this position. Attending to all backflow tests at the properties, other maintenance and/or janitorial duties as required. A valid drivers license is required, a company maintenance truck is provided to navigate between company properties.
