Job Description: Hillsboro Aero Academy is seeking a full time Line Service Manager to join our team. This position manages and supervises line service personnel including but not limited to training, performance, discipline, interviewing, and scheduling. - Plan, oversee and direct basic facilities maintenance repairs and upkeep - Completes and maintains required fuel and equipment logs/paperwork - Performs fueling of company owned aircraft - Ensures that fuel quality control inspections are completed properly and regularly - Ensures that ground service, fueling, and hangar equipment/supplies are in a safe working manner - Ensures that line service operations and practices meet federal, state, and agency requirements - Facility maintenance and performance of general maintenance tasks. Job Requirements: - Knowledge of simple arithmetic - Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Must have excellent customer relation skills - Must have a valid state driver’s license with driving record acceptable to Company policy - Able to perform work outside and in various temperatures and inclement weather - Excellent vision and coordination to move or direct fuel trucks and hoses - Physically able to perform frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing actions - Technical abilities to perform basic facility maintenance repairs - Physically able to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis up to 75 pounds Experience Required: - Minimum of 18 years old - High School diploma or equivalent - Bachelor’s Degree preferred - A minimum of three years previous experience in Fixed Base Operation environment - Previous supervisory/management experience Applicant should exhibit a “teamwork” attitude and represent the company in a professional manner.
