ohDEER is a fast growing, all-natural pest control company specializing in tick, mosquito and deer control. We are currently seeking motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented individuals to fill Spray Technician positions for the current 2021 spray season. These positions provide the right candidates with the opportunity for long-term growth and advancement within the company. This is a FULL-TIME, SEASONAL position through October 31, 2021. REQUIRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: * Motivated self-starter with the ability to work and produce results independently * Critical thinker and problem solver * Strong work ethic * Open minded and willing to learn * Clear communicator and ability to professionally interact with clients and team members * Basic mechanical skills and aptitude a plus * Aggressive go-getter with a ‘make it happen’ mindset * Professionalism, honesty and integrity are key * Neat, clean professional appearance and demeanor KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, DUTIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: * Must have reliable transportation to and from Northbridge, MA daily * Measure & mix products and materials accurately * Drive, back up and park a heavy-duty dual-wheel GMC 3500 truck safely * Navigate using GPS and service 10-12 residential properties daily according to schedule and instructions * Log daily production using integrated smartphone application * Maintain, clean and organize truck and related equipment daily * Ability to work Saturdays as needed * Typical hours are 7am-3:30 or 4:00pm * Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions including heat/humidity * High school Diploma or GED required * Age 21 yrs. or older required * Must be reasonably fit and able to walk and be on your feet several hours each day * Must have a valid driver's license and a CLEAN driving record.
