We are looking to expand the operations of our 50+ person hard working team. This positions offers a great opportunity for an entry level position within the tree care industry. Earn while you learn! Tree Care Specialists work alongside a 2 to 4-person tree crew assisting in tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding and wood chipper operations. The Tree Care Specialist is responsible for all communication with crew members and the public while climbers are aloft in trees or aerial lift trucks. Joshua Tree is dedicated to expanding our employees' knowledge and offer paid training to all Tree Care Specialists for class room work, seminars, certification testing and all certification related expenses. Tree Care Specialist Responsibilities: a. Ability to follow directions from crew leaders and management b. Maintain professional image & Provide excellent customer service c. Maintains equipment to operate as expected d. Provides a safe work environment for the public e. Ability to use traffic devices during job set up and on-site procedures f. Follows safety culture as outlined in company safety policy g. Must be available to work 40 plus hours per week h.
