Hi! My husband and I have 3 dogs in total, but our oldest, Cooper (6yrs), isn't getting along so well with our newest and youngest addition. We just moved into our RV full-time, so keeping them separated isn't possible. We need to find Cooper a new home as quickly as possible. We've had him since he was 9 weeks old and this is a very heartbreaking decision for us. We want the very best and most fulfilling life for our boy. We also need to make sure we're not having scuffles while we're driving and that we have the least amount of worry while traveling, so we need to find Cooper a new home as quickly as possible. Cooper (male, neutered, UTD) -Louisiana catahoula cur -potty trained -gentle on walks -very intelligent -knows basic commands: sit, stay, come, lay down, shake -no history of aggression but very alert and vocal when people approach -great with other dogs (only ever had an issue with our newest pup; we've had several other fosters and neighborhood dogs interact really well with him) -great with cats, friendly and curious -likes to stay to aloof, so he's not needy but still very affectionate -has lived a spoiled life indoors but loves exploring the woods and running through fields, so he would make a great farm dog -smart enough that with some additional training he would be a fantastic service dog or possible hunting dog, very command driven, strong sense of smell, loves chasing wild critters If you're interested in adopting Coop, please contact us by email or *phone* Thank you!
