Hi Everyone, Seasoned musician looking to start playing with people again, after doing the bedroom/solo thing for the past couple years. Stylistically I’m all over the place and don’t really have one particular genre I like to play, but if I had to categorize it, I’d say I’m within the realm of indie music. If that sounds vague, perfect. I’m over the whole being a rockstar thing and would like a group that doesn’t take themselves seriously and is more in it for the love of making music. Obviously I’d like people who take their craft seriously, but in general you should have no problem with self-deprecating humor. I’m open to your songs, my songs, any covers, weird avant-garde shit, harsh noise, and everything in between. Have you always wanted to play the kazoo? Perfect bring it along. I’m up for whatever, would just like to have a group to get together with regularly to do what we love most. And if we get good, I’d be all about playing some shows this summer. Some stuff I’ve been listening to lately: My Morning Jacket, Slint, Boards of Canada, Kurt Vile, Fleet Foxes, Battles, Ulrich Schnauss, Washed Out, blah blah blah, it’s always changing.
