Box Truck Driver - Non CDL Please call - 720 -999-6805 to set up an interview We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Loading and Unloading box truck Skills Proven work experience as a box truck delivery driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, IOS Smart phone) No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid driving license Experience with pallet jack and lift gate Driving experience with 26 x 13'1 box truck Refueling tuck and cleaning after each route. Fuel card provided. Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year $10 - Per Address- Average stops range from 12-20 per day. Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday High school or equivalent (Preferred) Driving: 2 years (Preferred) Box truck: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: Forward Air - Logistics Center.
