Position Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Wage: $15.00 - $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm (Monday – Thursday), 7:30am – 2:00pm (Friday) Are you simply working for the weekend? This is a temp to hire position for 1st shift. The main responsibility of the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is to perform a variety of warehouse duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Pick and pack materials based on daily pick sheets - Become familiar with customer expectations and requests - Make master carton labels - Complete shipping paperwork, packing lists, bill of ladings, etc. . Combine shipments and line up through appropriate carrier specified on picking sheet - Wrap pallets - Load and unload trucks using hand jack, electric pallet jack or forklift - Enter shipment data and receipts into Sage - Make local deliveries/pickups as needed - Check incoming materials and packing lists - Assist in general assembly/thermoforming as needed - Maintain clean work area Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous experience in shipping - Valid driver’s license - Basic math skills - Able to multi-task - Strong attention to detail QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
