Lisa & Leroy, a full service Design/Build firm is seeking a real rockstar in a Lead Carpenter role. A true go-getter that needs no micro-managing. Strong attention to detail and professionalism are required. n, and laughing at work is your enemy then this won't be a great position for you. We are in search of a qualified Lead Carpenter / Supervisor with 5+ years of experience that is as passionate about interiors and building as we are. Full-Time $22.00 - $39.00 per hour Benefits include health insurance, company phone, and 15 days of paid vacation Company work van and tools are provided THIS IS YOU: - You don't just know everything about construction, you live it and you love it. You can speak intelligently about methods of construction, forecast possible flaws, and offer solutions. - You understand basic building trades with a level of knowledge in all areas of construction. You will be supervising subcontractors and must know enough to help trades through issues and oversee quality control. - You love to learn and you embrace technology. We use loads of it to maintain our communication, schedules, and project documentation. You can use a MacBook and are willing to learn our project management software and other technologies and use them on a daily basis. You are able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form. - You love a schedule and you keep the job on time and on budget. You can coordinate critical completion dates with your team and subcontractors and think forward about any possible challenges. - You can read construction drawings and specifications and pay attention to the details. You anticipate questions and are able to communicate with the Project Manager and Designers to get the information that is required to execute the details accurately the first time. - You are super-efficient and organized. You know where everything is at the drop of a hat because you are ridiculously organized. Like ridiculously. - You take pride in your professional attitude, your personal appearance, and the cleanliness of each job site. - A bachelor's degree in construction management, or similar, is a bonus.
