Does anyone know of a Vet who will perform an X ray without all of the accompanying fees and hoops to navigate? Last time I had this issue it cost me $700 and having been out of work for a year I will have a hard time finding the funds. Anyway I saw my dog in distress last night, she was heaving and couldnt breath. I felt a hard object in her throat and somehow she swallowed it while I was panicking but only after much effort. Since then she only wants to eat grass. I'm really scared and this is a horrible place to be, she is all i have. Please, only authentic replies with some recomendations to a Vet with a little compassion who won't devestate me with procedures other than what I really need, and that is an X -ray.. I put off the dentist for myself but If I find out she needs surgery I'll go to carmax in order to afford it but I can only afford about $250 right now.
