Description

1. Performs a variety of landscape maintenance work, including mowing grass, trimming shrubs and trees, preparing flower beds for planting and planting flowers, applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, removing weeds, debris, and dead plants, and ensuring watering schedule is maintained. 2. Installs and maintains irrigation systems and drip lines for community grounds. Inspects, repairs, and replaces items associated with the irrigation system on a regular basis to ensure ample water is supplied to all grass and plants. 3. Ensures assigned grounds are kept free from trash and debris and trash cans outside of the buildings are emptied on a regular basis. Cleans and removes weeds and debris from all hardscape areas including sidewalks, gathering areas, parking lots, etc. 4. Performs regular inspections on tables, benches, fencing, etc. Cleans, repairs, or enters work orders for damaged items as required. 5. Transports tools, materials, supplies, and other items to job sites as needed. 6. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to maintain and enhance departmental operations.
