Water Well Floor Hand THI Water Well has been serving the North Texas area since 1981. Our specialty is drilling and servicing large and deep diameter water wells for municipalities/cities, rig supply/oil companies, corporations, farms/ranches, irrigation, and builders. We work with, and are trusted by, a number of engineering firms. We are currently seeking self-motivated and mechanically inclined individuals to fill our Water Well Floor Hand position. The Floor Hand position is an entry level position whose main job function is to assist the water well driller or operator. The Floor Hand position includes the following job duties: - Performing routine maintenance on machines and equipment - Operate Heavy Equipment as needed - Perform daily safety checks - Assist the driller in preparing for all operations - Ensuring rig is properly equipped and maintained - Maintaining accurate and in-depth drilling notes - Ensuring the well site is clean and orderly - Following all safety guidelines and reporting issues as needed - All other duties as assigned Requirements: - Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds - Must be willing to travel to job sites throughout the state of Texas, including daily reasonable travel radius - 10% overnight travel - Must be willing to work longer shifts and overtime as needed Job Type: Full-Time Primary Reporting Locations: Bowie or Pilot Point Pay: $16 per hour Starting Pay, $1 increase after first 90-days.
