The Energy Co-op of Vermont is looking for an HVAC Technician Apprentice to help us complete installations and servicing of heating and cooling equipment. The right candidate is mechanically inclined and a self starter with a desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Help install boilers, furnaces, water heaters, heat pumps and oil tanks.
- Help resolve service issues with HVAC equipment.
- Perform system cleanings and maintenance.
- May be used to to deliver heating fuels or wood pellets during the busy season.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and Clean drivers license.
- Background in mechanical installation or repair
- Able to acquire and maintain a minimum of a NORA Bronze certification.
- Able to move heavy equipment.
