Petty’s is a 70-year-old family-owned company in the Tyler Texas area. We are currently seeking an Experienced Auto Mechanic to join our Fleet Service team. The candidate qualified for this position would be capable of handling mechanical diagnostics, major mechanical repairs, tire repairs, working on the fly and researching parts. Experience working on gasoline and diesel machines is required. Mechanic work will be performed in our full fleet maintenance shop, equipped with lift and all the needed repair tools. If a tool is needed for a specific repair, then we will get it! Requirements: • Maintain and repair Trucks, Vans, Heavy Equipment and Trailers • Heavy equipment: trenchers, skid loaders, excavators • Delivery of equipment to job sites if needed • Offsite vehicle repair if needed • Valid drivers license, CDL a plus We always perform drug tests and background checks.
