Part Time Nanny Needed $17 per hour SOME OVERNIGHTS

Single mother with three children who lives in a 25 acre farm in a beautiful setting seeking regular part time help with three children, 15, 11, 7. Being able to drive is critical to this position as Mother would like someone who is able to take the children to the pool / etc during the day on Wednesday. Mother works from home and has primary custody with every other Thursday through Monday being Father’s custodial time. The pay is between $15-19 depending on experience. The schedule is as follows: Schedule / Hours: Mondays: camp pick up 4:00 PM - 8:45 PM Tuesdays: camp pick up 4:00 PM - 8:45 PM ****Every other Wednesday: 9 AM - 9 PM Stay overnight, then 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM - drop off kids to camp. *** please note before applying occasional overnights are an essential part of this job. Mother has a separate bedroom that nanny can sleep in, and does not pay for sleeping hours of the nanny. Mother requires that every other Wednesday the nanny be available to pick the kids up from the dinner visit at 8 Pm, feed them their snack and then assist with the bedtime routine, then spend the night to help get the kids to camp the next day (Thursdays) as drive them to camp. Job description: Maintain the schedule Mother has in place and keep the children on a consistent schedule Plan activities during the day and things for the children to see/do. Be comfortable taking the kids on day trips to the museum/etc Light cleaning: Clean up messes that are created from the kids and get their participation in cleaning up after themselves. Help the kids follow their morning routine which includes making their beds and hanging up towels. Although the 15 year old is mostly self directed, follow up to make sure he completes his morning chores as well. Meal preparation: Mother will have easy meals and snacks planned and will need lunch prepared and packed on the Wednesday during the 12 hour shift. Transportation: Must be comfortable driving large SUV. Mother would like nanny to use large SUV to take the kids places on Wednesday during the 12 hours shift, so must be comfortable driving a large vehicle. Tasks / Evening Routine: when the kids come home after camp pick up, prepare lunch for the following day, feed them dinner, and complete bedtime routine. Mother is home but will be working from an office upstairs and will not be listening or around to answer questions / etc as she is very busy at her job. Description of three kids: 15 year old teenager: quiet, polite, takes direction well and needs direction and reminders. ******The 15 year old is mostly self sufficient and Mother would need help with laundry and reminding him to do small chores / tasks. He will also need a ride sometimes during the hours to go back and forth to perhaps a friend’s house, work, and the gym. 11 year old boy He had a very big personality and is extremely chatty. He loves to talk your ear off and loves the interaction. He needs reminders to stay on task and needs strict routine and structure. He thrives on getting small things done and feeling accomplished. He does best when sticking to a schedule even during down time. 7 year old girl She is sweet, funny, silly, and always on the go. She requires a lot of reminders to stay on task when it comes to getting dressed, cleaning up toys, or getting out the door. She loves to play outside, ride her scooter, and dress / organize her Barbies.
