This is Canelo, he’s been our family dog for 6 years. However it’s time for him to go to a new home, we refuse to give him to a shelter. He is an amazing dog, very energetic and playful, not to mention SMART! He’s the perfect dog to play with, go out on runs and even swimming. He’s done it all! Anyways, we recently moved and in our new home he was attacked by a girl pitbull, she completely scarred him and now he hates this home. We have 5 other dogs who he grew up with and NEVER had any problems until after his attack. Now he fights with the other dogs, but it’s only dogs in the household. I believe he thinks it’s the environment dangerous and not dogs, because he’s GREAT with other animals out in the streets. We currently let him lose in the neighborhood because everyone knows him and sometimes we see him running around with other dogs from the area, but it’s the only way he is happy because he can’t play anymore here at home. And we’ll I’ve decided he doesn’t deserve to feel that way, he really is an amazing dog! He’s great with kids too. He deserves a chance to keep living and fulfilling others and we know that if I turn him into the shelter they’ll put him down.
