Mature, physically fit, pet-loving, people-friendly, organized, not-afraid-of-a-little-poop person interested in working the reception desk at a busy pet grooming salon are encouraged to apply for the position at Golden Touch Pet Salon, 28715 Los Alisos Blvd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. We are a small shop in terms of square footage, but we average about 30 or so pets per day for grooming... we are very busy! We groom dogs, cats and bunnies. Grooming experience is not required for the receptionist position. This is a very physical job, not a "normal" sit-in-a-chair and be pleasant type of receptionist position, especially since we are continuing to do curb-side check-ins and check-outs.. Basic Requirements: English-speaking. AVAILABLE TO WORK EVERY SATURDAY Reliable alarm clock and transportation. Some familiarity with different dog breeds. Able to lift, carry and otherwise handle and control up to 40 lbs of live animal (heavier loads are usually dogs, but loads will also include cats and bunnies). Work without your cell phone. Capable of learning clients' names, and their pets' names and breeds. Be willing to pitch in anywhere in the grooming shop where help is needed, including cleaning kennels, doing laundry, vacuuming, etc. A resume is not required - IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE POSITION, PLEASE REPLY WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE and confirm your availability.
