Re Roadblocks are generally unconstitutional

Description

The title of your post is inaccurate. Law enforcement in America have the right to detain civilians any time public safety may be in jeopardy. DUI checkpoints are 100% constitutional. Roadblocks to check vehicles for perpetrators are 100% legal. How about the giant roadblocks at our southern border? Are those a violation of your “constitutional rights”? Should we eliminate those? Public safety takes priority over your rights as an individual. Rather than complaint about all of the constitutional rights that you feel are being violated, why don’t you appreciate the rights that you are given in America. Don’t be a chronic complainer. Are the following a violation of your constitutional rights? Seatbelt laws? Helmet laws? Temporary curfews? The right to do illicit drugs? Anti nudity laws? Speed limits? Stop signs? No smoking laws? Noise laws? Roads closed due to construction? According to your logic, all of these things are a violation of your constitutional rights. I responded to your post because I am tired of all the “chronic complainers” in our society. Some people seem to find a way to whine and complain about every situation. Instead of whining about what you do not have, be grateful for all the you do have. Nobody likes a whiner.
