Seeking to collaborate with local musicians/artists who have an affinity for D’Angelo, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Musiq Soulchild, and all great R&B and Neo Soul music. Current sounds that capture me are Lucky Daye, Mahalia, J Cole, YBN Cordae, and Ari Lennox just to name a few. Basically, I love soul music as well as hip hop and I think it would be fun to make some good music with like minded people. I sing and have a background in singing in a church choir. We would need more vocals for harmonies, someone with a really strong falsetto, and also someone who can just flat out sing anything and make it sound amazing. A drummer who is proficient in hip hop and r&b beats is essential. Also someone who can absolutely slap on the bass guitar. Someone who plays the piano/keyboard is also a must.
