JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full time Custodian/ Janitorial to provide custodial services and manage a diverse work force. Location: West Point New York (Military Academy) Start Date: TBD- Contingency Hire Salary: $17.27/per hour Hours of Operations/Workdays: Services shall be performed Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. All work will be performed during Normal duty hours 0745-1630. Development Center (ACPDC) operating hours. 0530-2200, MON-WED and FRI, 0530-2100, THU, and 1100-1900, SAT and SUN. Custodians will perform the following services: vacuum carpets; sweep floors; damp/dry mop floors; remove trash, clean, disinfect, and supply rest rooms, classrooms and locker rooms, low/high dust, clean glass/mirrors, sanitize/disinfect doorknobs, doors, counters and countertops and policing of grounds (50’). Move/tilt moveable furniture to perform these tasks and furniture shall be replaced in its original position upon completion of services. Protect walls, baseboards, office equipment, and furniture from splashing or damage. Duties: • Remove Trash • Clean Athletic Surfaces (Wood, Rubber Sports Flooring, Wrestling Mats, Pool Decks) • Clean Latrines • Clean Locker Rooms and Showers • Vacuum Carpets Tile and Walk off Mats • Sweep, Strip, Wax/Re-Wax Damp Mop Floors • Spot Clean Floors, Walls, Carpets, and other Surfaces • Shampoo Carpets/Rugs • Dusting/ Low Dust • Replace Incandescent Lamp and Fluorescent Tubes: • Clean Glass: • Clean Drinking Fountains/water bottle filling stations • Snow Removal Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 1-2 years’ experience custodial/janitorial services • Must be customer focus. • Possess good attention to details. • Must be proficient in reading and capable of communicating effectively in English. • Knowledgeable of custodial equipment, supplies and procedures. • Able to pass background check and drug screening. • Complete all required government required training. • Possess a valid driver’s license. • Must be dependable. • Must be a legal resident of the United States, • Possess the skills, knowledge, and training to satisfactorily perform custodial services • Must be physically able to do the assigned work Benefits: • Medical, Dental, and Vision • Health and Welfare • Short and Long – Term Disability • 401k • Life and AD&D Insurance • Bereavement • Military leave • Jury duty • 10 Paid Federal Holidays • Vacation/PTO • Paid sick leave Qualified candidates please respond with your resume along with the best phone number and email address to reach you at (especially if you chose to use Craigslist's relay option).
