JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full time Custodial Project Supervisor to provide custodial services and manage a diverse work force. Location: West Point New York (Military Academy) Start Date: Contingency Hire Salary: $ 36.06/per hour Hours of Operation: TBD Overview of Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a diverse work force. Services include Sanitizing and disinfecting common areas (wiping down counters, door knobs, shelves, doors, handrails) sweeping, damp mopping, scrub floors, spot cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning carpets, tiles and walk off mats, cleaning latrines, locker rooms, showers, trash removal, glass cleaning, cleaning/sanitizing drinking fountains/water bottle filling stations, swimming pool decks, wrestling mats, hardwood maple floors, saunas, boxing rings, and rubber athletic flooring and grounds policing within 50 feet of buildings. Perform all work in accordance with (IAW) federal, state, and local laws and statutes, county regulations and directives, manufacturers’ recommendations, and standard industry practices. Special Qualifications: • Project Managers must be citizens of the United States and shall be able to read, speak, write, and understand English at the high school graduate level. • Have a minimum of ten (10) years custodial management experience. • Demonstrate experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating program performance, budgeting, allocating and distributing resources, scheduling, and performing quality control functions for custodial activities, and recognizing circumstances under which cleaning techniques may be hazardous to the facilities or personnel. • Must have experience in environmental compliance and maintaining historic structures. Requirements: • High School Diploma. • Shall maintain a valid state driver’s license. • Basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work. • Exhibit Supervisory / management Skills. • Record-keeping. • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy. • Principles and practices of training and providing work direction. • Knowledgeable of janitorial / custodial equipment, supplies and procedures. • Able to pass background check and drug screening. • Complete all required government required training. • Basic computer skills. • Attend government meetings as required. • Serve as the single point of contact to the government and JPLC corporate program office. • Perform related job administrative duties and responsibilities.
