The cutest race of the summer is open to kids 5 and under, and will be held Friday July 16th. Register your little one for a fun Balance Bike race! The cutest race of the summer is open to kids 5 and under, and will be held Friday afternoon on Main Street in Sugarloaf Village. Kids will make their way in small waves through a short but action-packed course from the Base Lodge, up Main Street, and back where they'll be rewarded with cheers, snacks, and prizes.  Race proceeds will be donated to CRNEMBA, our local mountain bike club. Racers will be grouped by ages 3 & under and 4-5. A parent signature will be required day of raceSchedule2:30-3:30 Day-of Registration on Main Street in the Village, just outside of Guest Services 3:00-3:30pm Course Inspection 3:30 to 4:00 pm Ages 3 & Under Start 4:00-4:30pm (approx) Ages 4-5 Start *Start times subject to change as we get closer to race day FAQsAre helmets required? Yes, all racers are required to wear bike helmets.  My child doesn't have a balance bike, can they participate? We want all kids to be able to participate. While we can't guarantee that extra bikes will be available, we'll do our best to provide a few bikes to borrow.  Are pedal bikes allowed? No, only balance bikes will be allowed.  What if it's raining? The race will be held rain or shine, but may be postponed or cancelled in the event of lightning or extreme weather.  How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
