Join us for a FREE barre3 fitness class on Saturday, May 22nd at 10am on the Great Lawn at The Parks at Walter Reed! What Is barre3? Barre3 is designed for every type of body, with adaptations for every posture. We are specifically welcoming those who've wanted to try a barre class but haven't yet. Our goal is for you to feel successful in the body you have TODAY. Let's move and celebrate it together! FREE 60-minute barre3 class led by barre3 14th Street studio owner AliciaOpen level class, all are welcomeBring yoga mat or towel and water (hat and sunscreen also encouraged!)Weather pending; inclement weather cancellations will be emails and announced no later than 1 hour before start timeWaivers All participants will be required to acknowledge and accept the waiver presented in this registration invite as well as by signing a physical copy on site prior to joining the session. SOCIAL DISTANCING We encourage all participants to wear a mask while arriving and departing. Small lawn flags will be placed to indicate where to go for your workout zone. Please maintain a distance of at least 6 feet or more from other participants when arriving and departing. Please view the map below. BIKE & CAR PARKING Enter The Parks from Georgia Avenue and Butternut Street NW, and take Main Drive around the campus. The entrance may be under construction, so please follow applicable detour signs. Bike parking is available on street signs throughout the campus. Vehicular parking is available in several designated surface or on-street parking areas near the Great Lawn. Please view the map below. BATHROOMS Bathrooms will not be available. FAQ's Where should I park? We encourage all participants to walk, jog, or bike to The Parks when possible as parking is limited. Please refer to the parking map for guidance if you do need to drive. Do I have to wear a mask? We encourage participants to wear a mask when arriving and departing. When you arrive and have settled into your designated area, indicated with orange lawn flags, you may remove your mask for the duration of the fitness session. Are there bathrooms available? Bathrooms are not available, sorry. What should I bring? Water, a mat if you want (not required), and possibly sunscreen -- that's it! RAIN DATE If it is actively raining, or rain is predicted above 50%, the class will be rescheduled. Participants will be emailed with an update. Weather updates will also be made on Twitter.
