On 5/29, join us for a special Soufside Market featuring Sandlot SE, Market 7, and ARCH Development. This isn’t your ordinary pop-up— This is a #BlackOwned cash mob! Participants should come ready to learn, and invest in, DC based Black owned businesses. We’re inviting the DC Metro Area to visit the market and make intentional purchases to support the Black Owned businesses on site. The purpose of a cash mob is to support both the local businesses and the overall community. Expect to see Black owned food, clothing, home, and body care product based businesses on site. Everything kicks off at the Soufside Market on 5/29 at 10 AM. The market will close for the day at 3 PM. The Organizers Market 7 is a community marketplace that features Black-owned businesses for the purpose of alleviating food and retail deserts in Washington, DC. Soufside Market is a pop-up market that gathers Black-Owned brands in DC has grown into a central location to find, shop and experience Black business and Black culture. Sandlot SE is an Open-Air Community & Cultural Events Space with an Indoor, Private Rental Facility. ARCH Development is a small, nonprofit neighborhood-based organization with its entire focus on the economic regeneration of Washington DC’s Historic Community of Anacostia, using arts, culture, and the creative economy.
