Join Captain America for an interactive storytime to benefit Medicines for Humanity! Captain America will be visiting The Green (located between REI & Kohl's) for an interactive, half hour storytime where he will be reading his favorite book -Harold and the Purple Crayon -as well as posing for pictures with his pals. Medicines for Humanity will also be on-site to share more about their mission: to save the lives of children and their mothers. Over 14,000 children under 5 die each day because they were born in places where basic maternal and child health services are lacking or simply unaffordable. Medicines for Humanity's vision is a world in which no child dies from a lack of basic health services. While storytime will be free of charge, pre-registration is required and a donation to Medicines for Humanities while on-site is encouraged.
